Book Alert: God told me to marry you

Image
God Told me to marry you. Growing up as a Christian, a child of God who believes God wants the best for him/her, you wouldn't want to leave this question out.  It's been part of what we learnt that God can tell people who to marry and also give them their soulmates via, dreams, visions, audible voices and lots more... However, so many frauds have taken the advantage of innocent ladies and turned their life upside down on the basis of "God told me to marry you , God said you are my soulmate or simply put the will of God." Does this really mean anything in our generation, perhaps it's only applicable in the early times of Isaac, Jacob and those old testament folks... Download this book and enjoy... Trust me you will be glad you did.  God Told Me To Marry You by Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo Lead pastor at David Christian Center. A seasoned man of God, blessing our generation marvelously. Daily Quotes

Psalms 110:2  The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies . This shows the intention of God that he doesn't breed cowards... The emotions of friends and loved one sometimes are dangerous. Jesus Christ wasn't spared. Mark 6:4 Told us that a prophet is of no honour in his own town... Among his friends, he will find it difficult to rule. Your victory is in your growth!   The truth is that you don't have to focus on your opposition but focus on the position God has placed you. Your opposition are the ladder into your rulership.   God does not want you to behave cowardly and naively in the midst of your opposition but want you to rule in the midst of your enemies with power.  The mantle on your life is to rule. But it is better done among enemies, that is where there is glory and fame...  Don't be scared of them, be courageous and God will be with you. Even God will be glorified. Remain Blessed!

Is God hungry of Worship?

Image
Is God really Hungry of our worship? I don't think so. There are lots of creatures doing that already.  I have seen people sing and lead worship service in church and I can’t help but wonder if they are really praising God or insulting Him. I wonder if those words they say really come from their heart. Do they really mean those sweet words they say or they just say them for the fun of it and also to make the song more interesting and alluring? Galatians 6:7, Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he reap.  God cannot not be mocked! Every Christian worships God, we sing praise to God in public or private. Some sing only when they are in the bathroom, cooking in the kitchen, washing clothes or cleaning the environment. As beautiful as all these are there is a place of deliberate worship to God, not the general one that we all do congregationally in church lifting up hands and shouting after the lead singer.  There is a place of deliberat...

The Controversy about Jabez’s Life The Controversy about Jabez’s Prayer Misconceptions about the Life and Prayers of Jabez... Taking it from where we stopped and for the record, if you haven’t read the first article about the “controversy about Jabez’s birth” check the recent post.  So far we have been able to establish the fact that Jabez was not a pauper and I believe this actually played much impact in his prayers. It will be opening us to a little history and the promise of God to the Isrealite after their escape from Egypt.   Lets take a look at the prayers of Jabez the honourable man again. 1Chronicles 4:9-10  And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow.   And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, t...

Movie Alert: The Train

Image
The Train This is the latest trending movie from mount zion film production. It is the true life story of the founder Evang. Mike Bamiloye, with the story line spanning from 1964-1993. Gosh! That's a lot way back. The movie was uploaded online on Damilola Mike Bamiloye YouTube channel on May 3rd, 2020. It was disclosed by Joshua Mike Bamiloye (Jaymikee) when he took on his Twitter page to give few tips about the anticipated movie.  He said the movie was divided into 7 chapters, giving it a long span of 2hours 40minutes almost becoming an Indian film. About 300 cast and crew were featured in the movie. It's so much a very interesting movie as the feel of the 1960s camera was employed. It reminds us of those years we weren't much aware of unlike now that coloured TV has robbed us of those experience. This will really help our so - called indomie generation. I guess it cool. Watch the movie and enjoy here https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=5mFvb62VMkc...

The Controversy About Jabez's Life

The Jabez Prayer The Controversy About Jabez's Life The Controversy about Jabez’s Birth I guess we all grew up with this story being told to us in our various sunday school classes, those moment were very wonderful. I could still remember my sunday school teacher telling us how people used to mock Jabez in the street and how he answered innocently. Jabez! Jabez! they would call out, and cheerfully Jabez would answer them without any hesitation. I grew up to know Jabez to be a man full of pain in his life. A man perhaps Wretched but well known amongst the people because of the scenario of his birth. I grew up to know that his mother had cursed him during child birth as many pastors would always use it to preach in order to motivate people into praying for their children.  Lets take a look at the scripture and see out the story play out. 1Chronicles 4:9-10  And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, ...
